When a municipality finds its voice

Mombello Monferrato had an extraordinary heritage but little voice to share it. We built a recognisable, human, and consistent social presence that turned institutional communication into a community story.

The challenge

Mombello Monferrato is a small municipality nestled in the Monferrato hills, a land of internationally recognised landscapes, culture, and traditions. An extraordinary heritage, cared for by a small community. The value was there: what was missing was a way to tell it. The mayor had a clear objective from the very first meeting: to communicate directly with residents, without the cold filter of institutional language. To put the village's values back at the centre: sharing, culture, tradition. To give voice to the wonders of the Monferrato, the heritage that defines the territory. To build a recognisable social presence where communication had previously been sporadic. The challenges were concrete: translating abstract values, such as identity and belonging, into tangible, everyday content. Giving a public institution a human, approachable voice, free from bureaucratic tone. Building editorial continuity where only sporadic presence had existed. Achieving real reach starting from a limited audience base.

The solution

We assembled a dedicated social media team, creating unique content tailored to the municipality's identity. We translated the mayor's values into visual and narrative language: sharing, culture, and tradition not as words, but as things to see and feel. We launched a consistent publishing plan on Instagram and Facebook, with a recognisable rhythm and a coherent editorial line. We gave the territory the communicative dignity it deserves, telling the Monferrato story with the care it demands. And we turned reach into tangible results: an engagement rate above 16%, a peak of 9,350 views, and an average of 5,000 views per video, well beyond the scale of the municipality. Every piece of content was designed to make citizens feel part of a shared story. Communication as a public service. The Monferrato not as a backdrop, but as the protagonist.
