Cookie Policy
Information on the use of cookies and tracking technologies pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, the Italian Data Protection Authority ruling of 8 January 2015 and the Guidelines of 10 June 2021.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites save to your browser when you visit them. They are used to make the website work (technical cookies), to remember your preferences and, with your consent, to collect statistical or marketing data.
Similar technologies such as local storage and tracking pixels are used for comparable purposes and are subject to the same regulations.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the website to function and to deliver the services you request. They do not collect personally identifiable information and do not require your consent.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| sb-[ref]-auth-token | Supabase | Keeps the authenticated user's session active in the freelance area | Session / 1 year |
| cookie-consent | Really Hub | Stores the user's cookie consent choice | 1 year |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Next.js | Remembers the user's selected language (IT/EN) | 1 year |
3. Analytics cookies (require consent)
These cookies are only activated after your explicit consent. They help us understand how users interact with the website through aggregated and pseudonymised data.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 | Identifies unique users and tracks sessions | 2 years |
| _ga_[ID] | Google Analytics 4 | Maintains analytics session state | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguishes users within a 24-hour period | 24 hours |
Google Analytics 4 is configured with IP address anonymisation. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months. You can opt out of Google Analytics data collection by installing the browser add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
4. Marketing cookies (require consent)
These cookies are only activated after your explicit consent. They are set by Meta Platforms and allow us to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, and to show you relevant ads.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta Platforms | Identifies browsers to track advertising conversions | 3 months |
| _fbc | Meta Platforms | Stores the fbclid parameter from the clicked ad URL | 3 months |
You can manage Meta advertising preferences from your Facebook account settings at facebook.com/settings?tab=ads.
5. Google Tag Manager
The website uses Google Tag Manager (GTM) as a tag management system. GTM is a technical tool that conditionally loads third-party scripts (such as Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel) only after the user has given consent via the cookie banner.
GTM itself does not collect personal data: data collection is performed by the tags it fires. Without consent, no analytics or marketing tags are loaded.
6. How to manage cookies
From the website banner
On your first visit you can choose to accept or decline non-necessary cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser cookies and reloading the page: the banner will reappear.
